Digital Delights Tutorial Tuesday

It's Tuesday and it's back to work for me after the Bank Holiday..... got burnt yesterday as spent the day being dragged around the golf course with hubby, finding balls and caddying and got burnt, was only supposed to be there for a an hour or so.....


Anyway it's Tuesday Tutorial with me over at Digital Delights, please pop by to view my full tutorial.  Today I'm looking at basic 3D Decoupage also known as paper tole or layering, it is one of the most popular card making techniques in the UK. 

Basically, its about creating 3D pictures from multiple copies of one image and layering using 3D Foam Pads, cutting out individual elements and glue into layers to create depth in the picture.

OSAAT Sunday Challenge

It's Sunday.....

This week I have a wonderful digital image from Stitchy Bear, Presents ... 

I think it's such a cute Christmas girlie image, 

well I have gone overboard with the pink and bling, 

couldn't help myself, 

sorry gone really girlie girlie on you all!

I've coloured with my Promarkes, glitter card from my stash and some 

snowflake punches and gems and a buckle 

and of course some glitter glue!

I decided to decoupage her too to add some depth and layers.....

I added some pearls as her earnings too!

"Summer inspiration" 

As September is approaching we will be changing our challenge day too, to THURSDAYS, starting the 9th Sept....  

So here's my creation for this Sunday, it'n not bright & lovely yellows, oranges and reds, beacause as usual the summer in the UK has not been scorching, so I've gone for softer pinks, purples, blues and greens....

I've coloured with my promarkers, still getting used to these and need some better paper. I've used some pretty floral paper which was a freebie from Creative Cards magazine, and added some flowers and a butterfly from my stash.

   

For those of you who follow us over at the digi blog, I hope you ill join in with us too! and don't panic the digi blog will become our Tutorial Blog, as I know you all like our fab team's tutorials, so please still pop in as we appreciate your comments.

Monochromatic plus a hint of 1 colour!

Well here's my very pink card lol! I went for lots of shades of pink and a hint of natural skin colour!

I created a double fancy fold card, and punched poor Pat into four circles and used my border punch too.

Coloured with my Le Plume II waterpens they are still going well some are, just plain and simple.

And here it is open and standing up.

Tuesday Tutorial Fun Framed Digi Picture

Sorry for the lack of posts the last couple of days..... we are decorating the house.  But it's Tuesday and it's my turn for Tutorial Tuesday over at Digital Delights..... This week I've gone back to my teenage years of creating 3D Decoupage Pictures!

Must be all the decorating we doing in the house, so please forgive me for this quick tutorial and the pictures have been taken in my box room which will be my craft room, let's just say I'm glad you can't see the mess!  This week's tutorial is a simple and fun way to create fun framed Pictures with your children for their rooms and I have chosen to be all girlie and used the new August releases!

No cards from me today, but promise there will be some soon.... not feeling the best plus in the process of moving my craft stuff to a room upstairs instead of the dining room and hubby is decorating!
