Frames.....

Second challenge of the day is over at Sarah Hurely's challenge blog and our challenge has been set by Claire, and the theme is......

FRAMES

The challenge is to use a frame anywhere on your creation, it could be around the photo, journalling or an embellishment, anywhere at all. It could be die cut, doodled, stitched, made from card or paper or a frame you have in your stash......  

For my creation I have used The Owl Collection from Woodland Whimsies 2 CD

I used my nesties to create a frame and to die cut a circle out of my card base

added some acetate to create a window

Die cut the cute little owls behind

Flowers are from Wild orchid

The Frames challenge runs until 29th of May & winners will be announced on 1st June.

April Showers...

Second post for today and it's  Team A's second challenge over at  
Sarah Hurley Challenge Blog!....

This week it is SANDIE'S to choose the challenge for us. Since it's April,  rain comes with this month! 

Hence... April Showers (water theme)

Since rain is wet, it can be anything wet~ baths, rain, beaches... you name it! 

Use your imagination!

So I have used 2 of may favourite papers from Sarah Hurley and have cut by hand, yes I know shocking....

an umbrella and wellies and a few rain drops of course, not bad for a first attempt!

Mum's the word.....

Good afternoon all...it is still very windy here, but this afternoon I have another card it's Team A's first challenge over at Sarah Hurley's Challenge blog.  This week it's Lisa's turn to choose the challenge.... and with Mothers day here in the UK on Sunday 3rd April the challenge is....

MUM'S THE WORD

It doesn't have to be a Mothers day card - but any project for or about Mum. 
So here is my card using 

Sarah's fabby bright flowered paper, 
I love it and I'm sure you will see it again on my blog...

I have used my MS butterfly punch and have raised with 3d pads

Added some ribbon and glitter and a few peal gems

My Mum sentiment is a hand letter punch that I have not used before

Embossing.....

Evening all..... Second Post for today and it's another challenge over at Sarah Hurley's challenge blog and this weeks challenge is...

EMBOSSING

I don't have no embossing boards, I really must get some, but I do have a Friends embossing sentiment from Sizzix so this is what I've used along with my MS embossing border punch and my nesties....

Here's a close up of the embossed sentiment with a few added gems and a flower charm

I love this MS border punch with the embossed zigzag and a little glitter 

I have also used Sarah's Cupcake and Cupcake papers too

Sarah Hurley Sketch challenge.....

Sorry I am a bit behind on my postings trying to relax and not to over do it as they are telling me.... good news though I have an appointment letter to see specialist, yay.....

This weeks challenge over at Sarah Hurley Challenge Blog is a wonderful sketch

You can create anything using the  sketch and can use any material, images and stash but if you have any of Sarah's products it would be great if you could use them. The challenge is open till 6th of February

Wonderland......

Third post today...... and second post as a GDT for Sarah Hurley.....This weeks Challenge is Sarah's choice, she is obsessed with Alice in Wonderland and her latest CD is 'Wonderland', an Alice in Wonderland theme seemed the obvious choice!  This weeks prize will be an exclusive Alice mini kit download designed by Sarah!

Sarah Hurley GDT..... this month yaya!

Third post for today...... so happy and excited to have been able to join Sarah Hurley's challenge blog as a GDT for this month, yay!.....  I had to choose the themes so I decided on a theme of New Beginnings - a great one for the New Year!  The challenge this week is also New Beginnings (sponsored by Letraset... and Letraset have kindly sent us a pack of 12 Promarkers with fineliner pen as a first prize!
