Creative Baker's Twine

Morning, up early this morning, hubby got up to go to work at 5am and I couldn't get back to sleep, so I have been having a little play this morning with some fine white crochet cotton and making my own bakers twine....

I cannot take credit for this fab ideas as I seen something over on Pinterest on how to make 

Here's the link to a video tutorial that I found so thought I'd have a go with a few tweaks.  Here's how I've done it, not 100% the same, but anything to save a few penny and get creative with what I have!

Simple really, some white cotton thread, ProMarkers, ruler, double sided tape and scissors

The video tutorial shows straight vertical lines 

but I decided to tweak it and have a go with diagonal lines

Not bad I think I will use it, just wish my cotton was a little thicker!

So now I need to make some cards with it on....

WOYWW......

Well its another WOYWW today... I didn't mange to get around you all last week so I do hope I can visit more this week....well my desk is creative today lots of stuff everywhere... or should I say a productive desk? Anyway here are some pics of my desk at 5.30 this morning...

I know I have enough scraps but yes again I have been printing off some lovely papers....

I also have a LOTV card in the making with some already made will on my blog this week

and a tidy pile of sticky tape bits and a few sheets of gems, a corner punch and a pink ink pad

WOYWW......

Good morning... I haven't entered WOYWW for a while as my room has been tidy and very boring....well not today it is a right mess..... please pop over the Julia's Stamping Ground and Join in the fun!

Morning...back to work today..... a lot of catching up I'm sure.....so while I'm at work you can have a look at what's on my desk....

WOYWW and a lovely cad from Lisa....

Morning all well it's 6.30am I can't sleep off to see Neurologist, Movement Disorder Specialist his afternoon at hospital was up until 2am writing my symptoms and history and adding pics, new doctor so have to start all over again.....

Well decided to share my work desk this morning as it is a mess....

First up is my cat Socks who loves to keep me company and join in, yes right in the middle of it!

Such a cutie... and very much Mammy's boy, lol

Few projects on my desk, yes been asked to make cowboy valentines and birthday card...

Plus the pink will be a GDT card....

Some tools..... and a box of 65 pocket folded wedding invites in progress

Been playing with my promarkers, nice organised mess hehe

  

And look what arrived in the post yesterday a wonderful card from Lisa (Purple Lis)....

Just up my street girly and sparkly will have to find  a nice spot on my unit to keep to make me smile!

WOYWW......

Well it is WOYWW..... here a couple of pics of my desk this morning, and yes there are some crafty stuff on my desk as last!

OK, a few tools dotted here and there,  I'm working on one of my DT Cards which I will finish tonight with my water pens...to the left another set printed ready to make another DT card and my old Big Shot to the right, handle broke but still works just comes off lol. In the back are some pink and white pocket wedding invitations I'm working on, been making the cards with pockets in different shapes and sizes for samples for someone.  Also you can see some fantastic ribbons in the back that I have opened at last.

Got some baskets with my scrap bits in which I intend to use and another with some cards I have made, just need to bag and finish off to keep them tidy! And my old but faithful paper trimmer.

And that's the lot for today!

WOYWW

Well I wasn't going to join in this week as I have no projects or mess on my desk.... but I do have a new and tidy craft room has been finally sorted and ready for me to get creative in, small and compact at 8.5 foot x 7 foot.

Walls are a bit bare but will soon sort that out as all my storage is full...... so here's a peek at my craft room, really head to take the pics in such a small space and a bit shaky this morning so a bit blurry!

WOYWW....

Another Wednesday.... so it's time for WOYWW!

My desk hasn't changed much since last week, haven't done much, but will have to as my Mum has taken my Christmas cards so need to make more....... Anyway here's a pic of my desk

and a bit over spill onto chair...

and here are a few quick cards I had to make last night, 

it's my FIL to be's 50th today and an arrival of a friends new baby.....

He has an Aston Martin so thought I'd use the logo..

I hope to get around to more of you today so fingers crossed!

WOYWW........

Well did get to hospital yesterday......had all my injections in my both eye areas, jaw, chin, neck shoulder and back so nice and sore and still but will take effect over the next week or so and will be a lot better for another 3 months, yay!

My desk hasn't been touched much since the weekend as I have been rough.... you can see lots of DT work and other cards too, but at least the mess has been cleaned up, lol!

As soon as I have more movement I'm sure it will be messy again and yep back to work tomorrow!

I still haven't managed to get around everyone's blogs to have a nose but I will one day I promise!

It's Wednesday and I feel like I've been pulled through a hedge backwards! Well desk is full of started projects and a few completed, I had a really bad day yesterday so no crafting and not a tidy desk in sight, this is how I left it on monday night.....
